I have over 30 years doing Anglin genealogy. I have done some research on the Cook, Martin, & Bennett families. I first started in 1980's copying old family pictures. Some were on tin. One of the pictures I copied was of my Great Grandfather Allen S. Anglin and part of his family that was taken in 1898.
I grew up in Forsyth County Georgia and lived there until late 1998. I now live in Banks County Georgia near Jackson County line.
I spent many hours and years at Georgia State Archives when it was in downtown Atlanta, GA. I visited many court houses, libraries and done many hours of research online. I wrote a book of information for all my 1st cousins which I titled James Anglin from Ireland to Georgia. I included many copies from as far back as 1773.
Update on the Anglin Cemetery at the old Mathis airport location The Airport closed 2013. There is now a metal fence around the cemetery. They have finished building houses where the old Airport run way use to be. All the old tombstones are repaired and back on each grave site. I also have new granite headstones on each grave.

They have finished building houses where the old Airport run way use to be. All the old tombstones are repaired and back on each grave site. I also have new granite headstones on each grave.
