When I came to findagrave.com, I was so taken aback at the information I was able to gather in my ancestry research and(!) that it was supplied by a myriad of volunteers. Finding the resting places of my ancestors greatly assisted in locating death certificates and other historical family information.
The information that I was able to find here, opened many new paths of my family's history to be able to explore.
