I'm a retired United States Air Force Lt Col and currently live and work in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C.
My father was in the US Navy and we moved a lot. Both my parents were born and raised in Minnesota and although we tried to visit relatives there, I do not know my roots or family history very well. Next year I turn 60 and have decided to try and find out a little more about and record my heritage for my children and siblings.
