Retired Air Force officer. Served from 1981 to 2005. Interested in genealogy and history. My mother's family is from western Maryland and my father's family is from Clay County, WV. Researching my dad's WWII infantry company, Company A, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, which resulted in my book, "Combat Pants and All: Discovering my Soldier Father."
