Bio
I was born in Redhill, Surrey, England, and live not far away in Crawley, West Sussex. During 20 years of family history research, I have discovered a direct link to a French knight who helped Malcolm overthrow Macbeth in Scotland in 1057, 3 generations of bridge builders who followed the origin of the Briggs name, 3 generations of clockmakers in the UK and USA, and war heroes in the Jacobite rebellion, 1st World, American Civil and 2nd World wars.
