NOTE: Per find a grave rules it say if a person is married more that once to include the spouses in the bio and keep the last name as on the tombstone.

I am happy to transfer within the guidelines and will make corrections and additions to those memorials which fall outside of the guidelines.

Please use the Edit Key for transfers and changes or corrections. Ignoring the Edit Key may result in ignoring your request altogether.

I do make errors at times; unintentional, of course, but they're still errors! Don't hesitate to call these to my attention! Once in a while a duplicate will slip by me so let me know when you find one!

Biographical information belongs in the "bio" field or in other text fields on the MAIN memorial page.

Please do NOT post pictures of text to any of my memorial pages (Example: Do NOT post pictures of; obituaries, death notices, newspaper articles, death certificates, birth certificates, marriage licenses, remembrance cards, etc.).

Also, do NOT post biographical information in the Flowers section. This too, belongs in the appropriate text fields on the main memorial page.

Instead of posting a photo of text, please forward the information using the "Suggest Edits" tab. I'll ensure it is added to the memorial page in a prompt, accurate and professional manner.

Do NOT post non-photograph graphics to the photo section (such as military emblems, membership emblems, flags, candles, etc).

List rank on find a grave if not retired or Killed in service

When listing a rank on a Find A Grave memorial for someone who is not retired, it is generally acceptable to use the rank only if it is above the rank of Captain. For those who have served but are not retired, the rank should not be used as part of their name. This is to avoid any perceived implications of continued service or status
