I grew up 3 miles south of Whiting, Kansas, in Jackson County, Straight Creek Township, and still live in the area. I am a retired State of Kansas employee.

I am working to add local graves, especially my hometown, and linking them to their families using online newspaper archives, and Ancestry.com census and other records.

I strive to post colorful, quality photos to reflect the best possible image of each grave.

Because this is a searchable database, I try to limit what info I post on surviving family members, both in headstone photos and in obituaries.
