If there is a change to a memorial that I have created, please use the edit tab. I enter information based on what is on the headstone so if something other than the dates are not accurate, please make sure to send some documentation to support your requested edit. The changing of a name or spouse is an important thing to get correct so please make sure you can prove the change. If there is no documentation sent I will not accept the edit.

If there is a memorial for a member of your family I will gladly transfer it to you. Please use the edit tab and include the number of the memorial and your user number. I will not hunt down random memorials. Please be polite when leaving me a message or sending me an email.

Find A Grave is about preserving and documenting cemeteries and the burials within. Please, do not use chalk, flour, corn starch, or other materials to read headstones. These items are highly destructive to the stones and are not safe. Using these items to read a headstone and then posting the picture on Find A Grave is against their rules. When I find a memorial where this is the case I will report it. Please know how to properly clean and preserve headstones. D/2 and Orvus soap are the only products that have been tested over years and have been determined to be safe for use.

The cemetery work I do is primarily in the North Central Ohio area. I focus my work on older cemeteries. They tend to be neglected more often and need the extra TLC. I enjoy doing the nitty gritty work to help uncover and record headstone information.

Memorials can have up to 20 photos each. Unless there is an issue with there being too many photos where no more can be added by immediate family I will not remove photos. We all take time out of our schedules to take pictures for memorials and I do not expect that time to be wasted by asking to have a photo removed. In my opinion it's a matter of respect for a person's effort.
