I found FindAGrave.com while simply browsing the web for my own family history and other notable grave sites of the famous. The more time I spent browsing the site, the more interested I became in finding and expanding my own family history.

As I began creating memorials for my own family members, I also took on the task of being a photo volunteer in my area. I greatly enjoy being a photo volunteer and often make special trips out for that purpose only. I have recently started to photograph as many monuments as I can, adding photos to existing memorials that may not have any and creating new memorials for those that are not currently listed. It is my hope that family members of these memorials will come to FindAGrave.com to take over management and provide proper history, photos, and details for their family members.
