I have been doing genealogy for over 30 years. I started with my husband's family and when my sister could no longer do my family, I took that on too.
When I hit a brick wall, I have been known to work on a friends genealogy so that I could have a success before tackling mine again.
I used to volunteer for Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness and I loved helping others learn new things about their families.
Needless to say, I love the searching. I find the cemeteries very calming. I feel very attached to all my ancestors and love finding new ones.
