I have been actively involved in researching my ancestors for a few years, but have recently become more involved since my retirement. I am a CPA and a retired partner from a major public accounting firm.
I am the son of Ronald C. Knecht, Sr. and Charlotte Ann Nelson.
The families in New Orleans that I am researching are: Xavier Knecht Descendants, the Adolph Hale Descendants, the Owen McAuley Descendants, the Lehmann's, the Farrel's and the Glennon's.
I am also researching the Norris family from New Iberia and Port Arthur, TX and the Romero's from New Iberia and Port Arthur.
Also researching the Nelson family from Lake Providence, LA and the Hyland family from Mississippi.
