Born 1944 in Preston, Lancashire. Attended Winckley Square Convent School. On leaving school at age 17 I signed up to serve in the Royal Air Force. My job was in telecommunications at the Northern Region Air Traffic Control Center. Five years later I applied for a job in the USA, and worked in Connecticut and Massachusetts. I met a man and married him, but he was drafted into the Army and then went to serve in Viet-Nam. He came home safe, and we have four sons, all of whom served in the US Military
Now I live in Livermore, California. It's a small rodeo town, we have lots of ranches and cowboys here. Also we are surrounded by 58 vineyards and wineries. There is a swimming pool in the complex, and I love to swim. Behind our house is 23 miles of open land, beautiful hills and trails and could not be happier. All of our sons, their wives and children live close. Three within walking distance.
