Hi, My name is Brenda Fay Register, my pin name is Faith Highlander. My date of birth.. November the 7th 1954, I was born in Panama Canal Zone. My Father was stationed there. He was serving in the military as an Army officer/soldier. My mother flown over to be with my father 2 weeks before my arrival /delivery. I was premature and in poor condition and survived. My sister, Linda Kay that was born a year before me and in the same month.. full term, strong /healthy, did not survive. The cord choked her during birth. My father's name is Daniel Clifton Register Sr. "Dan", my mother's name is Louise Cynthia Charles Register. I have four siblings under me.. my sister next to me is Danny Carol Register Cole, Cynthia Joy Register, "Cindy" and my baby brother, Daniel Clifton Register Jr. "Little Dan" and three half Siblings.. Donna Register Scott, Henry Michael Register, Velma Missouri "Marie" Yon and a handful of Aunts & Uncles and lots of cousins. My Uncles are John Anthony Register, Ballinger Eugene Charles Sr. "B.E.", My Aunts are Leaner Register McKnight, Katie Ruth Register Crumbley, Velma Missouri Register Davis, Bertha Lea Register Thames and Georgia Lee Charles Hobby. My children are Shannon Monroe, James Charles Phillips Jr. "Chuck", Brittany Lee, Malinda Gale. And My grandchildren.. they are James Charles Phillips III, "Little James", McKenzie Marie, Andrew and Aiden. Also Summer & Winter (twins), Pierce Mayhem and Bailey Hunter. Cousins.. And I always wanted a place to call home. I went to many different schools, I think that's why I'm practically a stranger to almost everyone around me, even Ones related to me. I never lived in just one place.. to create special bonds in relationships like having best friends from childhood. To have that special someone to know you one-on-one. I lived in so many different places while growing up. My parents finally settled in a little town of nowhere when I was almost grown. My Dad became a police officer after he was discharge from the Army. After years of serving as a police officer he had a massive heart attack and wasn't expected to live through it and he did. He was told to stop working, but after he recovered he eventually decided to move to this teeny, tiny, little town thinking & believing he could work there and physically be with less strain, stress, trouble, worry or worse. At the end of retirement he confessed "what We already knew" that the job was more demanding, stressful and difficult than almost any other place he had worked. But thank goodness he did get to enjoy a little bit of his retirement.
I dropped out of highschool and went to adult school during that time I married my school sweetheart. Then moved to Newport, Rhode Island. My spouse was in the military "Navy". He was originally stationed in Newport, Rhode Island but, they switched their home port to Brooklyn. I didn't particularly like New York City and a little afraid of Brooklyn. New York was a bit too crowded. I described it as a huge ant bed. I prefer the Open Fields and pastures and to feel the Summer breeze and to breathe the fresh air. Providence, Rhode Island was beautiful to me but, I enjoyed living in Newport, Rhode Island. It was like going back in time.. history. Although it did take a little time to adjust. And longer for my accent to change. So many found my accent amusing and a few found it cute & funny but, I didn't. And it didn't take long after returning home to sound like a country pumpkin or hillbilly once again. I'll confess.. I'm proud of being Country, I wouldn't have it any other way. It was so cold there and snow everywhere, when I first arrived at the airport in Providence. The snow was beautiful to look at but not to walk through. And it was also the first time I ever experienced difficult seeing after staring at an ocean of Snow. I had never heard of snow blindness. Caused by the Sun light shining directly on the snow.. I know now! It was exciting seeing the Statue of Liberty while making trips to Brooklyn and New York visiting my husband or picking him up. I actually felt attractive for the first time in my life while in New York. Discovering I wasn't the only one with a big nose, LoL. I hope I can be some assistance to whoever may need it. God Bless
