I am a longtime resident of Sutton in Central Massachusetts with lineage to Freegrace Marble and Mary (Sibley) Marble, who were among the first 30 families to settle the town between 1716 and 1720.

I have access to all of the public cemeteries in Sutton. I can also request access to most of the family cemeteries on private properties.

I have digitized the Sutton Cemetery Commission burial records and have assembled an index to aid in accessing those records. In the process, I offered information to existing Find A Grave memorials and have set up memorials for others.

A frequently updated copy of the index and images of the documents that have been found are accessible at Sutton Town Hall. Copies of each are also at the Sutton Historical Society and NEHGS in Boston.

I am also one of a group of Sutton Historical Society members and friends who have been doing restoration work at historic cemeteries and burial sites in the town. Extending beyond that, we participate in the Cemetery Conservation Ambassadors in the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor Volunteers-In-Park program.
