Raised in Dauphin, PA until 1971 moved to Newville, PA until 1985, then moved to San Diego coastal until 2022 when moved to present paradise of Bryant, Alabama.

Pet professional since 10th grade in 1974 of her own Tiara Kennels in Newville, grooming pets and then opening boarding after graduation from high school in 1976 until 1985. Opened The Dapper Dog by Tiara in 1992 in La Jolla, CA which was a holistic pet care store including grooming and offering supplies, raw diets. etc.. Semi-retired in 2016. Known for the Tiara line of Standard Poodles for producing champions and superb athletes in agility, obedience and other dog sports for owners all around North America. Known too since the 1990s as a leader in maintaining genetic diversity the best she could in this variety of the Poodle breed. Member Poodle Club of America since 1988, San Diego Poodle Club since 1985, Del Sur Kennel Club (again) since 2021 and Chattanooga Kennel Club since 2025. Also a fancier of the Alaskan Klee Kai breed since 2005.
