I was born at home in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana on 26 Oct. 1937. I was the third child of Charles Dwight Bridge and Berniece Regina (Hershberger) Bridge. They divorced in 1945 and each remarried that same year. Dwight had one child by his second marriage, (Charlesdivorced again and remarried. I enlisted in the US Navy on 27 Oct. 1954 and 'I served on a Light Cruiser (CL-83), 2 WW II type aSubmarines (SS-398and (SS-331)1
