I am the immediate past President of the Connecticut Cemetery Association.

For my "day job", I oversee 32 small Jewish cemeteries in Hartford, CT and 1 in Meriden, CT that were either abandoned by their civic organizations and/or synagogues or they folded. This is through the Association of Jewish Cemeteries of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. Without donations, it would be quite difficult for us to exist.
