Pinellas Genealogy Society, located in Largo, Florida, will be undertaking a new inventory and photography of markers at Royal Palm Cemetery South, beginning September 2019. I hope to work with PGS on the project. 2021 Update: I believe COVID put the project on hold.

I recently found a link to a ledger sheet for Royal Palm South that lists the interred (that PGS has identified) and the Block, Lot, and Space.

When making your requests, please include any known family members who may be at the cemetery, and any other helpful information, such as maiden name, nickname, military service. Royal Palm has Veteran, Jewish, Russian and Armenian sections--knowing this specific heritage will help locate your loved ones quicker. With my own family I have found that relatives were buried with parents, inlaws or siblings, and often with no marker.
