A little bit about me. I grew up in a relatively small family. I grew up in Southern California with my parents while the rest of the family lived in Wyoming. There have always been many miles separating my family. I became interested in genealogy after helping my wife with some of her research on her family tree. She has been active in genealogy since she was a small child. As I have delved into my own family history, I have found that my family is quite large! She has me hooked. This is now a family hobby (more like an addiction) as we work on our family history but also helping others with information about their family.

I understand that Find-A-Grave has “guidelines” when it comes to transfer and management of memorials I treat them as just that, guidelines. I follow their overall guideline, “Family First.” If I manage a memorial (other than my family), I will be happy to transfer it to a family member regardless of the Find-A-Grave “4x guideline” or make any updates. I am not a member here just to crank up my numbers so everyone can oh and ah. I am here to research and honor my family and help others do the same.
