Interested in genealogy, Vermont/New England and Quebec history. I'm particularly interested in learning about how people lived in the past, and old photographs. I also like to preserve history and family genealogy. My genealogy sleuthing often brings me to cemeteries and I like to poke around antique shops and searching family names and Vermont photographs on Ebay. Alas, I sometimes come across a photo with a name or a gravestone that sparks my interest and I will do a random search on Find.A.Grave, Ancestry and other databases. I try to link family members on Find A Grave when I can and add bio information if I find them on the census or other places. I also make note if they are a veteran and if they aren't already designated as one on Find A Grave, I will do that. My husband's family "Bourgeois" is traceable right back to the 15th century. My family is much harder to trace, so if by adding information to random graves helps someone find their ancestor or know more about them, I'm happy to help where I can.
