I lived for 60 years in Northwest Illinois and have recently moved to another state. I have ancestors that immigrated to Northwest Illinois from Ireland, England and Germany. I also have many that migrated West in the early 1850's from the Pennsylvania area. Local graveyards have a wealth of information, if we can only read it before the elements erode it away.
