I was born in Texas, but grew up in Apache County on a cattle ranch *The Mesa Redondo* near Concho, Arizona. I left the University of Arizona in Tucson to move to San Francisco, where I learned about peace, love, and exactly what I DIDN'T WANT TO DO with my life. Since then, I graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Business Management, raised three children, worked as an electro-mechanical drafter, penned humor columns for a college periodical, wrote regional western articles, and served as managing editor of a Fortune 500 company newsletter. I currently live in Arizona with my husband, 99-year-old mother, a first grader, a Standard poodle, and numerous gigantic, bossy houseplants. Silki, the Girl of Many Scarves: SUMMER OF THE ANCIENT is my debut novel and Book One of the Silki, trilogy. CANYON OF DOOM came next, and VALLEY OF SHADOWS followed, completing this exciting and different adventure-mystery set in the Navajo Nation. My first historical novel, BLACKBERRY ROAD (2018), available in every format including audio, started me on a path of writing Historical Fiction. Since then, I have completed THE ACCIDENTAL ROAD, TRIUMPH, A NOVEL OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT, THE GOLD ROSE, and THE BULLS OF BASHAN.
