As a child I could always be found hanging out in a cemetery, reading a book, walking the rows, and getting to know the history of the persons buried within those grounds.

Flash forward thirty years and I still love scouring the back roads, walking through the undergrowth with a camera in hand and coming upon a cemetery. There is just something magical about the land as you enter it, the stones telling a story of a past that many have forgotten. My hope is that in sharing my photos that many are able to connect with their loved ones and continue their story moving forward.

Most of the memorials that I have posted are of persons to whom I am NOT related. I add memorials & take pictures of cemeteries and markers to ensure their preservation. If you are related and I am not and would like a memorial transferred, just ask.
