My paternal grandmother got me into researching our family as she had some brick walls that she was unable to break through. She did all hers without the aide of computers and the internet. I will all the technology am still at her road blocks.

When I was raising my children we would go to the local cemetery just to check out the older headstone and moments. I have a great love of this lost art that was the last way to honor our dear departed ones.

Today I love roaming cemeteries, this is my art history class. I have photographed some of the local cemeteries that I have ancestors and I still amazed at the ones I find that I never knew were right under my nose. I will gladly go photograph local cemeteries for anyone whom asks.
