Research focused on paternal lines of my family. Main interest out of all is the paternal line of McClure, which we discovered with yDNA to have been fathered by a Stephenson/Stevenson/Stinson male. Which explained why I could never get beyond the earliest known McClure male. Robert McClure b c 1792 KY, per 1850 census record. FTDNA estimated the event to have been between 1750-1850. Ancestry has suggested his father to have been Thos McClure, who did have a son named Robert, who died in 1830's. My Robert died after 1855. Searching for a direct father to son McClure of this Thos McClure that would be interested in a ydna test.
