I am Derek Boyd West, and i live in Connersville, Indiana, and i was originally from Metamora, Indiana. I am 25 years old and was born on July 4th 1989, in Connersville, Indiana, Fayette Memorial Hospital, to my parents Bobby Lee West, and mother Marcia Ann (Pence) West. My maternal grandparents were Boyd Allen and Mary Lucille(Steele) Pence-Bunyard, and my paternal grandparents were Russell Lawrence and Mary Ellen (Burch) West. My maternal great grandparents were Cecil and Blanch (Harlow) Pence, and George Greene and Phema Marie (Parsons) Sparks-Steele, Steele being my great grandfathers last name. My paternal great grandparents were Matthew Lawrence West and Estella Omega (Robbins) Woods-West, West being my great grandfathers last name, and Riley and Daisy Alice (Marcum) Burch. My maternal great great grandmothers name was Josephine (Ash)Pence, and my paternal great great grandparents names were Randolph Powell and Harriett (Johnson) Marcum. I have three nieces, named Desiree Marie Bennett, Brooklyn Renee West, who are the daughters of my sister, Christina Maria West, and their dad, James Dylan Bennett and Patience Mary Hanes, the daughter of my sister and Russell Hanes. I have maternal aunts, Nancy Arlene (Pence) Kersey, who is deceased, and was married to Roy Gilbert Kersey Sr, and has sons Roy Kersey Jr, Tony Kersey and Terry Kersey, and Terry has sons Austin Kersey, Avery Kersey, and Alex Kersey. Aunt Carol Sue 'Suzie' (Pence) Abercrombie, who is married to Clarence Eugene Abercrombie, and has daughters Tracy (Abercrombie) King, with a son Brandon King and Stacy (Abercrombie)has son, married to a Rodney ?last name, then Mark Shoemaker, now Jeff Riehle, and has children Carson Jeffrey and Kayleigh Suzanne Riehle . Aunt Wanda Kay (Pence) Reese, married to William Bernard Reese, and have children, Joni kay Reese (Johnson) who is married to Brian Johnson, and lost a child, Katelyn Reese Johnson, and has a daughter Natalie Elaine Johnson. Son William Charles Reese,who is married to Shaunda (Lunsford) Reese, and has children Logan Reese and Miley Reese, and step Children Noah Freer and Mackenzie Freer, and son Gary Allen Reese, who is married to Brandi (Shoemaker) Reese, and has son Wyatt Reese, and step son Collin. Uncle Danny Allen Pence, married to Leona (Mullins) Pence, and has children Randall Scott Mullins, Danielle Pence, and son Kyle Pence, and uncle Michael Boyd Pence and wife Janice (Cross) Pence, and son, Michael Matthew Pence Jr, and daughter Janice Dianne (Pence) Grant, married to Matt Grant, and has a son and daughter, whose names i don't know. Then i have paternal Uncle Merle West, married to Judy (Messer) West, who has son, Chris West, and sons Christopher Michael West and Matthew Lawrence West, Aunt Pamela Sue (West) Evans-Cox, married to Kenneth Cox, with daughters Deana (Evans) Day, Jackson, married to James Day, now married to John Jackson, and has daughters Haley Day and Lindsay Day, and daughter Rebecca (Evans) Combs, and has daughters Harley Combs and Kaylah Combs, and deceased uncle James Dean West, with son Aaron Ashley West and daughter Danielle (West) Marcum, and was Married to Charlie Marcum, and has daughters Desiree Marcum, Jasemine Marcum and Anastasia Davidson. I have paternal great aunts Martha Hazel (Burch) Monroe-Doerflein, Virgie (Burch) Neeley, Edith O. (Burch) Allen, was married to Bleve Allen, Fern (Burch) Eiback, Lucy (Burch) Sampson-Monroe, Inez (Burch) Hamlin, Lena (Burch) Carmac, Dale Burch, Tom Burch, Dewey Burch and Robert Burch, maternal great aunts Venus (Steele) Feeback, Charles Monroe Steele, married to Louise (Pursiful) Steele-Peters, Franklin Steele, Benjamin Steele,Lawrence Steele, Everett Steele, married to Anna (McDaniel) Steele, and maternal great aunt Helen (Pence) Messer, Sherley Cecil Pence, Charles L. Pence, and Floyd Pence. I am looking for geneology of the last name West, Pence, Harlow, Robbins, Woods, Ash, Steele, Parsons,Baker, Cook, Prewitt, Allen, Marcum and Johnson. I am having trouble finding any genealogy for my paternal great grandmother, which was my dads, dads mom, and her name was Estella Omega (Robbins) Woods/West, and i can't locate her or any of her family members. If anyone is a relative to her, or has information for me, i would be greatly thankful and appreciative. Also, i am having trouble locating any of my maternal great grandmothers family members as well. She was my moms, moms mom and her name was Phema Marie (Parsons) Sparks/Steele, and i can't locate any of the parsons. If one of you happen to have info on the Parsons family, please forward it to me and i thank you in advance.Here are some of the obstacles that i have ran into. My maternal great great grandmother and grandpa, their names was Louisia (Smith) and Dace Parsons, and they are from Jackson county Kentucky. I can not find them anywhere on here, neither can i find any of their siblings, or siblings of my maternal great grandmother, Phema Marie (Parsons) Sparks/Steele.As far as i know, Phema's parents lived all of their life in Jackson County Kentucky, and then my great grandma Phema spent most of her adult life in Laurel, Indiana. I also cannot get past my great grandfather Matthew West as well. All that i know is that his family was from somewhere between Sunman Indiana and Osgood Indiana. I can not locate any of his siblings or parents. Also my paternal great great grandmothers maiden name was Johnson, and she was from Claiborne County Tennessee, and i can not find any of her siblings or decendents names either. Her first name was Harriett. And lastly, i have had trouble locating my paternal great grandmother Estella Omega (Robbins) Woods/West. I do not know any names of her siblings either, and cannot locate them on here. All the rest of my family tree, i have had no trouble locating, but those are my stumblingblocks.
