Born and raised in Niagara Falls NY to a Polish American father and mother of mixed Swedish and Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry. Recent years in Colorado, followed by Robbinsdale, Minnesota. While in Europe in 2019, I found the city where my Polish grandparents got married was in Szydłów, an old town in Galicia, Poland, and my mother's father from Västra Götaland, Sweden. Gothenburg for that region is the most likely port of departure for the US. I served in the Navy in Vietnam as a Hospital Corpsman and later became a computer programmer, then a Registered Nurse.
