I have been tracking family history on both my mother's and father's side for approximately 10 years. I have traced parts of my mothers family back to the late 1600's and my father's side back to Christian Leeka in the 1700's.

There is a wonderful resource for ancestors of Caster, Castor, Kaster, Kastor, Kester, and other varying spellings through the Castor Association of America. The Caster surname has documentation of evolving from other spellings including Castor.

I try to visit the local cemeteries and take photos of the new headstones and placards when I have free time. When I am out taking photos I try my best to clean the headstone of dirt, grass, etc. and I will replace vases and flowers that have been blown due to the weather.
