I live in the far western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, about 20 miles from the Chicago Loop.
My primary role with Find a Grave is to connect memorials together as I work through my extended family trees. For me, family history research is like a crossword puzzle. I often find myself solving connections for very distantly connected families.
My family history research direct lines include Dicky and Robbins of Walker County Georgia and Wayne County Illinois; Bryan and Stephenson of Nebraska; Deal and Trowbridge of Indiana and Illinois. My wife's lines include Blahut and Mergan of northeastern Illinois.
