Born and raised in Brown County, Ohio. Descended mostly from stubborn German farmers who lived their whole lives in a small area in Germany, decided to move halfway around the world, settled in a small area around the Ohio River, and never moved again! They married each other in Germany, and then they came to Brown County, Ohio and Bracken County, Kentucky, and they married each other here. I'm mostly researching these areas for Bush, Wagel, and Kalb. Also the Frey family name--the only outsiders :)
I enjoy finding and walking through small old cemeteries finding and documenting forgotten gravestones. My specialty is looking on all sides of the stone to find the wives and children. I search for out-of-the-way cemeteries in Ohio, Wisconsin, and occasionally when I travel.
