I became a member of this site after a close friend of mine passed away. This site being volunteer driven is a valuable resource to researching family history. I'm also using it to help process my father's passing while performing estate administration duties as it's helping me achieve some sort of closure.

If I ask you to transfer a memorial to me, it's because I'm a family member or a close friend. I'm also going to start contributing more often as it's something productive to do during my retirement years.
