Born Wayne Robert Mertell II, on April 30, 1969 in Independence, Mo to Wayne Robert Mertell and Rita Rae Spangler Mertell.
As a result of his parents divorce, Wayne "Rob", moved with his mother to Adamsville, Tn. in the mid 1970's. In November 1988, Rob joined the Navy and shortly thereafter met his Wife, Amy Elizabeth Orlett who was also attending Navy Basic Training. After serving in the US Navy in Florida, Pearl Harbor, Hi, Seattle, Wa, Montgomery, Al and Sacramento, Ca, Rob and Amy retired and currently reside in Elk Grove, Ca
