My name is Judy welch and I am from the Simpson County Mississippi area. I have been interested in my family heritage for a long time but have not had the time to devote to it until recently. I never knew how addicting this could be. I am learning things about my family that I never knew. Hearing the old stories from my parents again and attaching them to the family members has been an exciting adventure for me.
My daughter Candice and my Father Paul Higgins and I, are doing this together and I think that spending the time together is the best part of doing this.
I have 5 children and 11 grands so far. I am working on saving all of this for them on Ancestry. One of my parents had a really bad health scare recently and it made me realize that if I did not write their stories down then they would be forever lost. I do not want to ever forget..
