I have conducted numerous lectures on topics ranging from Genealogy principles, preserving photographs and documents, and also on various aspects of protecting endangered cemeteries.
I have received local, state, national and international recognition for my research in preserving Onslow County "little known" history.
My focus is on abandoned cemeteries of mid-to-late 19th and early 20th century. More specific, histories of Ancestors of local African Americans.
They shared contributions in serving local and national advancement of social events. With their service to our nation in the time of war they fought for rights they themselves did not fully possess.
