Born and raised in the Vancouver, Washington area. Have many deceased relatives in the Portland and Vancouver area. Other areas with family history are in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Tennessee, California, Kentucky and overseas in Ireland, the Netherlands and Czechoslovakia.

Knowing how hard it is to gather information on deceased relatives, I find it very satisfying to claim and post a photo when someone requests it. I am currently attempting to update a few generations of relatives who don't have updated information or photos.

Find a Grave is another tool for genealogists and has proven very effective for me. How great it was when I determined that as a volunteer, I could post and get the very information that I was trying to gather. So I am very happy to do whatever I can to help gather information and to take and post photos for other people.
