I have always had an interest in the past, even as a child. My grandmother would often tell stories about her ancestors and I loved to hear about them. I feel such a connection with the family members who came before me, and have so much respect for the life they lived before me. I wish I could let the people who came before know that they are not forgotten.

I was born in Thomasville, GA, but now live on a farm outside of Elkville, IL. We actually have a cemetery on our farm that does not have any of our family buried there, but we lovingly care for the cemetery.
