We all try to develop a remembrance of our departed loved ones, as many may not know how they are related to one another, or know what they look like. I find this challenging, and love to do research. We all make mistakes and I would appreciate anything being brought to my attention so as I can correct the situation. I hear a lot through relatives, neighbors, church family and some may be incorrect or correct. I love researching gravesites when I come to my hometown and other areas where I live and visit gravesites of a lot of places I am interested in. I would appreciate any advice from anyone who may want to give it. My mother is 95 and remembers a lot so I learn a lot that way also.
No one is trying to intimidate anyone else if they own a memorial to get it transferred or trying to say their family is bigger or better than anyone else's. When we say we are or have been close we mean as in loving that person or spending a lot of time with them NOT that we are closer in being kin to them. I ran into that earlier this week a person was hateful and nasty and even when I tried to explain that I meant that closer meant in a personal relationship in seeing them spending time with them. They were not too receptive of that either then I found out they were just doing it because they were related to the member they never spent time with them or even knew them personally, they were from another state most all of their life.. They never met them..oh well. I told them if you really knew me you would know I would never intimidate anyone on this site or anywhere else. I like to have memorials that I personally know or related too, meaning I really care and knew them in the past and loved them....
If you feel there is a mistake in any memory please tell me and be an adult about it. Don't get mad because you have some Misinformation or have been misled. I only post or put what I have found out thru personal experiences with that person or remember. A lot of younger contributors don't understand information or have been misled let's all be adults.
I have found out most all of the Contributors are nice and courteous, but a few are not and are arrogant, even if you are a relative of someone they have maintained the memorial of. They get upset if you ask for a transfer, I only ask for transfers of relatives I have known, related to and have had a personal relationship or close relationship with their family. Some contributors act childish, and have thousands of persons maintained by them. You guys need to act like responsible adults it is not like someone wants personal property from you or money. I will pray for you guys in the future.
