I was bitten by the genealogy bug over 40 years ago and still love working on learning about family.

My maternal ancestors include Spray, Satterfield, Phillips, Whitworth and Abbott from Lincoln County, Tennessee and Wood from Franklin County, Tennessee. Bates, Easley, Sugg and Wade ancestors lived in Hickman, Dickson and Williamson Counties, Tennessee. Also Reeves, Young, Whitworth, Strickland, Smalley and Edge from Central Alabama and Georgia.

My paternal ancestors include Wilson, Bass, Goodwin, Kuykendall, Byers, Weems and Posey from Blount and Jefferson Counties, Alabama. Also Bailey, Barnett, Wright, Sellers, Acton, Lee, Hale and Lindsey from Jefferson and Shelby Counties, Alabama.
