I have been working on my family tree information since 1984. Once I married, I started working on my husband's tree as well.
Connecting to my ancestors and learning their stories has been a great passion of mine since I was a teenager (I know, strange for a teen). I want to record our family's information to pay tribute in hopes of preserving memories for future generations. Plus, there's the outright FUN factor!
I live in Waco, TX. My ancestry is primarily western European, with most of my family hailing from the deep south and Midwest (AL, AR, GA, IN, KY, NC, SC, TX). My primary family names are Bereman, Brumfield, Coffey, Dills, Elliott, Green, Hurley, Moody, Rich, Stevenson, Taggart, Tribble, Webb, Woods, Zachry.
I have had my DNA tested for genealogical purposes with 23andMe, AncestryDNA, and Family Tree DNA. All of my information has been uploaded to GEDmatch.
