Born in 1958 and raised in the Seattle area. Have been researching my family lineages on and off for about 10 years. The internet has made this very much easier. I attempt to verify all my ancestors through more than one source. Errors in fact can and do happen through the fog of time. I welcome additions and/or corrections to anything I post here. My wife and I live in the Lake City area of Seattle.
I am descended from the following family lines: McLane (Thomas D. McClane, County Tyrone, N. Ireland), Bates (Adam Betz, Bavaria, Germany), Hubbard, Swanberg (Erik Svanberg, Vastornorrland, Sweden), Hiram Greenland, Newkirk (Neiuwkirk, Holland), Samuel Hall, Pehr Wilson, McCutcheon, Campbell, Batman, Thomas Leach, Johannes Umbriet, Heral Bradshaw (Canada), Pehrsson, Göransdotter, The Daniels Family of Massachusetts, War of Independence (heroes) Sargent Family. Far lineage (1300's) to the Fiske family of England (through the Hall/Daniels line).
Many my father's and mother's ancestors both passed through and lived in the state of Iowa, where they met and married.
