I was born in Happy, KY in 1933 and lived at
Viper, KY until my 18th birthday at which time I enlisted in the U.S. Navy (Waves). I have never returned to Perry County to live but I do come back to visit relatives on a regular basis.
All of my immediate family (except for one sister) are buried in the Felix Brashear Cemetery at Viper, KY.
