146 of the 237 first class of troopers in 1917, they were called "Camp Men".
95 of 172. NYS troopers who died in the "Line of Duty".
23 troopers who died "Off Duty", while employed by the NYSP.
7 Retired troopers died from natural causes.
I enjoy working in the ER, have met numerous Troopers, Police, Deputy Sheriff's and Fireman, amazing what they do for the people of NY State.
