I love all things history. I began researching my family history around 2010, not realizing the research never ends.

I look for connections in SC, NC, GA, FL, VA, MA, MD, and PA and overseas in the UK, Ireland and northern and eastern Europe. Specific surnames: Quinn, Devine or Deviney, Gilmer, Vandiver, Coates, Flynn and Flinn, Murray, Lilly, Abney, Davis, Malinow, and Malenofsky, Brown and Braun, Friedman.

I have done preliminary work on my spouse's family. They were located in TN and GA but the Civil War scattered them throughout the south. Surnames are Nicholas, Perry, Barry, and Murphy.

When requesting memorial edits, understand that I may ask for verification unless the requested edit is to correct an obvious mistake or typo. I love correcting duplicates and errors, so if you find some, send them to me.

I manage a fairly small group of memorials, most of which are close family members. I am open to memorial transfer requests, if you are a relative or a close friend. However, I would not be inclined to transfer my very closest relatives.
