My dad Hansford Linney Nichols came from Wilkes County NC. My mother Margaret Louise Brown came from Boone, Watauga County NC.
I married Jack Gaithersburg Koontz in 1963. We have a daughter Tammy Annette and our son is Brian Koontz. I taught Special Education for 34 years. Which is still my passion. I love the mountains where my ancestry started. I wish I knew them all!
