I am a hobbyist genealogy enthusiast researching my family and helping others research their own. I have traveled all over to track down family records and cemetery locations.
Keep in mind that I am a volunteer and not a professional photographer. I try to go out with the necessary tools to clean a grave to get the best photo but sometimes I forget or go on a spur of the moment when I have a free chance.
Before I go to a cemetery I research it first. Too many volunteers just go out, walk around, don't find what they are looking for and then say a stone is not there when it really is. I have found this time and again. Many times there are inscription books available or maps that point exactly to where a marker is or should have been. Sometimes not all family names are listed on a stone but the church has vault records that prove burial under a stone.
I am happy to transfer any memorial I have added - just ask! Any other questions, ask and I am glad to answer.
