I am related to families with the surnames Corwith, Mauer, Tuthill and Wilcox among others . This branch of the Tuthills lived on the North Fork of Long Island 339 years. The Mauers came from the Catskills outside New York City. The Corwiths had roots in Brooklyn and the Wilcoxes on the south shore of Long Island. Most of the descendants in the twentieth century were buried in Long Island with some In Delaware, Sullivan County, NY, and Florida among other places . All of these families seem to have been rather quiet and unknown to history.
