Although a native of Florida, my heart, heritage, and faith are deeply rooted in the Bluegrass State, as all four of my grandparents were native Kentuckians. As a very young child, my paternal grandparents tragically died within four months of one another, one of an accident, the other from heart failure. My maternal grandmother had died long before my birth, and my maternal grandfather, Lord rest his weary soul, lost his battle to cancer—or, as the late great Norm Macdonald would put it, his battle with cancer ended in a draw—shortly before my ninth birthday. As such, my passion for genealogy stems from a deep need to reclaim the information I was never privy to nor able to ask on this side of eternity.

My focus on Find a Grave is to ensure my family's legacy is preserved as well as possible, by uncovering and adding photos to the names of my extensive family lines across the great state of Kentucky.
