Bio
I am retired, first from the U.S. Navy (26 years) , second to SS. I have been working Genealogy since 1979, as my late wife's assistant and recorder. Later as my own researcher. My direct lines are Wilson, Eby, Parmer, Mackey. My wife's lines are Horne, Raulerson, Kramer, Thompson. Together we put together our main gathering as 'Cheri's Carolina Cousins Collection'. The family tree is available at Ancestry.com. For a long time it was also a hosted web site, but got too expensive to maintain.
I am currently working on some other lines. My son-in-law's family is Parham. Currently the main family body resides in Texas and Oklahoma, but have very deep roots though out the South East.
I have come to rely on 'Find a Grave' and a great tool. Gathering information to add to my research list. The date has provided great leads to finding solid source documents.
Thank you everyone for leaving such a great trail of bread crumbs!
