I am 56 and originally from Valdese, NC and am of Waldensian descent. I am fortunate that much of my genealogy has already been completed thanks to many members of my family who do genealogy. I have always been interested but allowed other things in life consume too much time to participate. However, since I will retire form Broughton Hospital Feb, 01 2020 with 30 years service I hope to be more productive in genealogy. I have been involved with Billiongraves.com, which links to Family Search, because they use GPS technology for each grave marker and have photographed and uploaded a few thousand headstones. I am very impressed by the diligent work of others in FAG and hope to follow in their footsteps.
