I have been researching my family since I was a young teenager and it has become a passion that I now share with others by teaching in the genealogy community. I have worked with local genealogical societies to help transcribe cemeteries, have transcribed records for USGenWeb and FamilySearch, as well as the Washington State Archives for many years. I also worked as the Education Course Manager at the National Genealogical Society from 2021-2023.

In August 2026, I earned the Certified Genealogist credential from the Board for Certification of Genealogists(R).
